Rita O'Connor

Rita and her husband, Kevin, and their two sons have resided in Long Grove since 1999. A graduate of Loyola University in Chicago and the Loyola University Chicago School of Law, Rita has been a Certified Financial Planner, and has held several securities licenses. Currently, she is a licensed attorney and residential real estate Broker Manager, in addition to assisting her HOA as treasurer. Over the decades, Rita has honed her skills in negotiating, sales, marketing, appraising, protesting property taxes, and practicing family and general law. 

 

Rita wants to help finish what was started four years ago. Her goal continues to be a unified Long Grove that works well and respectfully for all residents, driven by a respectful and caring environment that starts at the top and which proactively seeks and listens to residents’ goals and ideas.

Anne Kritzmire

A thirteen-year resident of Long Grove along with her three children, Anne holds degrees in electrical engineering from Notre Dame and an MBA in finance and marketing from Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, which she puts to work as a Managing Director of strategy and marketing at Nuveen Investments. She heads the board of the Closed-End Fund Association, and serves on non-profit boards for Chicago Public Media (WBEZ) and the Chicago Children’s Choir.

 

Closer to home, she volunteers with the Boy Scouts and sings at her church. Since the 2015 elections and particularly through the Village comprehensive plan update, Anne has become keenly interested in the opportunities for Long Grove’s future growth, and seeks to offer her skills and long experience in strategy, finance, and communications to work with all to help shape a smart and vital future for the village.

Bobbie O'Reilly

After serving for many months on the Comprehensive Plan Steering Committee, Bobbie realized that our unique Village needs constant, continued protection.

 

In addition to her role on the Comprehensive Plan Steering Committee, Bobbie has a long history of community participation, including: Realtor and owner of Weichert Realtors, McKee Real Estate located in downtown Long Grove; president of her HOA; a member of the Long Grove Lions; volunteering with the Boy  Scouts; Past President of Long Grove Historical Society; Lake County Board and Lake County Forest Preserve board member, and a former Trustee in Buffalo Grove. She notes that previous Long Grove boards have been very sensitive to all aspects of our environment, and is committed to helping make certain that we continue in that important direction. Bobbie and her husband Bill are 34 year residents of Long Grove. In her leisure time, she gardens, rescues greyhounds and beagles and loves spending time with her four fabulous grandchildren.
